Revised guidance on home/hybrid working issued by HSE
The HSE has expanded its guidance for employers on managing the health and safety of home workers and those who are hybrid working (splitting their time between the office and home working).
This revised guidance includes:
— Laptop/computer and other equipment provided for work i.e. Display Screen Equipment regulations
— Tips for employees on good posture
— Working environment
— Stress and mental health issues including stress risk assessments
You can access the guidance here.
Employers should have a hybrid working policy, undertake DSE and stress risk assessments, and should revise their contracts of employment to reflect their place of work etc.
