Foundations: Great news for the Construction team
We are delighted to share some great news relating to our Construction team. Sarah Lidgett returns from maternity leave this week and George Elliman qualified into the team this Autumn. We put Sarah and George in the spotlight below.
Sarah Lidgett qualified as a solicitor in March 2016, having trained with the firm. Sarah specialises in construction law, dealing with contentious litigation matters, health and safety issues as well as non-contentious work. Not only is Sarah an outstanding lawyer, but she is approachable and friendly which enables her to work well with clients who admire her enthusiasm and dedication. She is also a member of various groups, including the Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce Construction Sector. Sarah’s working days will be Tuesday to Friday inclusive.
George Elliman qualified as a solicitor in September 2020, and also trained with the firm. He deals with a broad range of construction work, both contentious and non-contentious. George regularly contributes to our Foundations legal updates, ensuring we keep you up-to-date with the latest legal developments in the construction sector. He is also one of the firm’s qualified Mental Health First Aiders, an issue particularly pertinent to the construction industry.
Head of Construction, Lorna Carter said: “Amidst these trying times, I am delighted to welcome Sarah back from maternity leave and to grow the team organically offering a qualification position to George. Having hard-working and experienced juniors to support the outstanding matters our Construction team is working on is really important. It also allows us to work effectively and to offer competitive pricing models for clients.”
Please join us in welcoming Sarah back and congratulating George on his qualification role: they would love to hear from you by email or LinkedIn.All news and events →
