Let’s go out…!

Coronavirus / 26 June 2020

There is new hope for businesses such as cafes, restaurants and bars as the government unveils the new streamlined process for licences to place removable furniture on certain highways adjacent to certain types of business premises.

We are reviewing the details carefully and considering how this could help our clients to safely get back to business.

The government has produced detailed guidance on pavement licences which can be found here.

As lockdown eases this is a good start to help businesses to navigate the social distancing labyrinth when space is restricted.  Provided the weather holds, and there is adequate outside space to accommodate needs, this should allow some businesses to begin to trade again.

If you feel that a pavement licence would benefit your business and would like some advice, please get in touch.
